I have been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember. Splitting my time between Los Angeles and New York, my parents managed to always have an open door for dogs…6 at one point. It was only right I got a furball of my own when I left the nest. 

I built my career in hospitality with leading hospitality groups including Catch Hospitality Group, Major Food Group, 1 Hotels, etc… doing what I loved most, taking care of people and showing them a ASS good time along the way. Mid-career, I had almost too much fun, quit my job, wound up modeling for Playboy, moving back to Brooklyn and asking myself, “what next?”.

 Living in Greenpoint for 3+ years, with 3 dogs of my own, I knew something was missing… where the FUCK were all the groomers? After being fed up with traveling far for groomers, having to book weeks out, or paying insane amounts to have someone come to me, a light bulb went off: I wanted a CONVENIENT, CHIC, & COOL grooming spot. A grooming spot that I wouldn’t mind going to, AND I might even stay a while. So, in October 2025, Pooch’s Parlor was born - a grooming parlor with an opinion, rooted in a no-bullshit, attitude giving ambience, inspired by my favorite tattoo shops, dive bars, and a bit of myself.
