I have been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember. Splitting my time between Los Angeles and New York, my parents managed to always have an open door for dogs…6 at one point.
I built my career in hospitality with leading hospitality groups including Catch Hospitality Group, Major Food Group, 1 Hotels, etc… doing what I loved most, taking care of people. Mid-career, I had almost too much fun, quit my job, wound up modeling for Playboy, moving back to Brooklyn and asking myself, “what next?”.
Living in Greenpoint for 4+ years, with 3 dogs of my own, I knew something was missing… After being fed up with traveling far for groomers, having to book weeks out, or paying insane amounts to have someone come to me, I was fed up: I wanted a CONVENIENT, CHIC, & COOL grooming spot. A grooming spot that I looked forward to going to, AND I might even stay a while. In October 2025, Pooch’s Parlor was born - a grooming parlor with an opinion, rooted in a no-bullsh*t, attitude giving ambience, inspired by my favorite tattoo shops, dive bars, and a bit of myself.
